We need volunteers to represent Plumbers Local 1 at the Resorts World Community Advisory Committee Public Hearing!

Date: Monday, September 15th, 2025
Time: 4pm to 8pm
Location: Queens Borough Hall - Helen Marshall Cultural Center (120-55 Queens Boulevard, Queens, NY 11415)

This is the second and final committee hearing which is part of the process to obtain one the three potential downstate table gaming licenses. Resorts World New York City’s $5.5 billion vision to create an integrated resort will create 5,000 UNION construction jobs and a permanent workforce of 5,000 employees. Resorts World has been a strong partner with union labor and has a signed project labor agreement in hand!
