Every year, Helmets to Hardhats (H2H), a nonprofit program that connects transitioning active-duty military service members, veterans, National Guard and Reservists with skilled training and quality career opportunities in the construction industry, host a fundraiser for their program. This year the event was held on Friday, July 24th. Four Local 1 Apprentices who entered our apprenticeship program through H2H joined other members of Local 1 for a friendly Fluke fishing competition. We thank these brothers for their service and are glad they could enjoy the day!
