On Wednesday, March 25, 2009, Local No. 1 Officers, Instructors and Apprentices met in Albany with NYS elected officials, including NYS Senator Joseph Addabbo and NYS Assembly Members Catherine Nolan and Margaret Markey,  to discuss the need for I.D.A. reform, prevailing wage protection and the importance of leaving the recently revised Wicks Law thresholds in place.
