The Plumbers Local Union No. 1 Trade Education Fund, operates The Plumbers Local 1
Training Center. In addition to our New York State
registered five-year apprenticeship program, we offer
Journeyman training and certification courses, as well as
training for MES Division Helpers.
Location:
The training center is located in a geographically central
location within our jurisdiction of New York City. We are in
the borough of Queens, in the Sunnyside / Long Island City
area. We are on the corner of 47th Avenue and 37th street.
The #7 (local) subway line is nearby, at the 40th street
station.

Classroom & Shop Hours:
School is usually open from 7:30 A.M. to 9:30 P.M. during
