 NEW YORK STATE APPRENTICE COMPETITION

On Saturday, June 4, 2005 at the United Association's Northeast Regional Training Center in Peekskill, N.Y., the New York State Association of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors held a statewide apprentice competition. The competition involves a written and a practical test and the winner goes on to represent New York in the national competition at the National Association of Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Contractors convention. The Local 1 contestant was apprentice Jay Bourekas.
