To change the size of your screen area :

  1. Click the Start button at lower left.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Go to Control Panel.
  4. In Control Panel find the Display (monitor) icon and Double click it.
  5. The Display Properties dialog box will open.
  6. Choose the Settings tab.
  7. In Screen area, set the desktop size. Choose 800 X 600 pixels.
  8. Hit the Apply button.
  9. Hit the O.K. button.
Notes
  • Don't worry if your screen looks off center. You can use the buttons on your monitor to re-center the screen.
  • Your monitor and display adapter determine whether you can change your screen resolution. Some can not.
