MES HELPER CALENDAR

This  is to inform you about the Mechanical Equipment and Service Division (MES) HELPER training program that operates at the Plumbers Local 1 Training Center.  The goal of the MES Helper Training Program is to provide job related training to the MES Helper population in order to make them more productive and effective in their role of assisting the MES Journeymen, and to prepare the helper population to eventually assume the role of MES Journeymen themselves. As the MES Helper advances in skills through “on the job” experience at work, and by attending related training sessions, the potential for advancement can be realized  if the individual is willing to make the necessary commitment.

In order to allow the individual MES Helper to fit school time into his / her work and home schedule, the MES Helper Training Program is conducted under an “open enrollment” format.

   It is a voluntary program.

YOU MUST REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM.

NOTE: Registration is one time only. This allows the school office to set up a file for your school records to be maintained in the office. If you previously registered, you do not need to register again.

ALL STUDENTS MUST ENROLL FOR ALL COURSES

Courses will be offered first to eligible Helpers who have previously registered as noted above.

Courses will be filled on a first come first serve basis. There is a $10.00 non-refundable registration fee for each course.

The $10.00 fee will hold you a seat in the class.

Listed below are the courses that will be offered.

Please note that some courses require another course as a pre-requisite. You must complete the pre-requisite course before you can enroll for the next course. Do not attempt to enroll for a course until you have completed any required pre-requisite.
